TDP Dance Company – Formerly The Dancers’ Place has been a Hendricks county institution for nearly 40 years. Under new ownership, Danielle Yantiss is the Owner and Director of TDP Dance Company.

TDP Dance Company offers instruction at different skill levels in lyrical, contemporary, tap, ballet, jazz, tumbling. In addition to the annual recital, students perform at community events, area retirement centers, and sporting event halftime shows to name just a few. Along with recreational classes TDP also offers competitive dance. Our competition team has won many awards over the years including a National Title. 

The philosophy of TDP Dance Company is to offer students of all abilities the opportunity to integrate the awareness of body, mind, and spirit while studying the physical arts. The discipline, strength, stamina and conditioning skills acquired through their training will provide a strong foundation for healthy lifestyle choices.

Our Studio

Located at 5250 E US Highway 36 Suite 180 and 190 in the Prestwick Point Plaza strip, our brand new, fully renovated studio offers 4200 square feet for dancing and studio space.

We have 3 different class rooms, a break room, an office, two restrooms, and a full lobby which is open for parents.

Our Staff

Danielle Yantiss- Owner/Director

Danielle is the Owner and Director at TDP Dance Company. She teaches  jazz, ballet/lyrical, and contemporary. Danielle also coordinates and coaches the Competitive Company.

Danielle began her dance career at TDP Dance Company, formerly The Dancers’ Place. She has danced and taken gymnastics since she was 3. She was a Varsity Cheerleader at Plainfield High School, where she graduated in 2006. Danielle has also coached cheerleading at Avon Middle School and Plainfield High School. She has choreographed for school musicals, Junior Miss programs, and competitive cheer teams in the area.

She loves working with children and sharing her passion of dance with others.

Jessica Pendygraft- Administration

Jessie’s daughter has danced at TDP since the age of 3.  During those years, as the Company has evolved, Jessie has taken on the role as President of the Parent Group as well as various support to the Company such as Fundraising and Team Building.  She previously studied Modern Dance and Ballet at Columbia College Chicago as well as Sports Medicine at UIndy.

Lilly Brown- Teacher

Lilly has danced at The Dancers’ Place since the age of 3. Over the last 18 years, Lilly has trained in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and tumbling. During her time at TDP Lilly was a member of the Dance Line, and a founding member of the TDP Competition team. She is also a former member of the North Putnum Varsity cheer team. This will be Lilly’s 4th year teaching.

Cori Tillman- Teacher

Abby Perrey- Teacher

Abby is new to TDP Dance Company’s staff, but she is not new to the studio. Abby has been a dancer since she was six years old, and she came to The Dancer’s Place when she was 11 years old. She has trained in tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and musical theatre. During her time at TDP, Abby assisted three teachers with their classes. Abby has missed the studio over the last few years, and she is excited to get back to doing what she loves most.

Outside of TDP, Abby is a Ball State graduate with a degree in Journalism and Telecommunications. She currently works as a Creative Copywriter and hopes to be a published author someday.
